Can I adopt a child from Casa Hogar Elim?
Because the orphanage is privately run, the children of Casa Hogar are not currently adoptable. 

Do the kids go to school?
Yes, the kids go to school in Nuevo Laredo. The orphanage does have to pay for tuition and uniforms.  If you are interested in helping with these costs, please click the "How to Help" tab.

Where do the kids come from?
Each child at the orphanage has their own story.  Some were rescued from difficult circumstances.  Some had their parents pass away.  Others have parents who cannot care for them.

How long do the kids stay at the orphanage?
Some kids spend their entire childhood at the orphanage. Other stay for only a short time.  As long as a child needs a home, Mama Lupita will not send them away.

Does the orphanage need financial help?
Yes, the orphanage is not run by the government, so it relies solely on outside contributions.  If you are interested in helping, please click the "How to Help" tab.
