As you have looked through the pages of this web site I'm sure you have been surprised that despite the needs there are always smiles on the faces.  The children at Casa Hogar Elim even though they have very few "things' are very happy children.  They know they are loved and that they are going to be taken care of somehow.  Now to how you can help.

First of all you can pray for the children.  They get sick like any other children, but many times there are not funds to go to the doctor or get medication,(even though medication in Mexico is very inexpensive).  Pray for their protection.  They go to school in shifts which means many of them do not return to the orphanage until  six thirty or seven p.m. each night.  Some of the young men and women go to the university which requires them to be out at night. 

Of cours another way you can help is to send funds.  The orphanage has a very large budget each month and the income never equals the outgo, but somehow they go on.  We need consistent monthly support and no amount is too small.

If you do not want to send funds you can send goods.  Mnay times we forget that there are things needed besides food.

Each week they need paper products such as:

Diapers

Baby wipes

Toilet tissue

Feminine Products

Paper Towel

Trash bags

They also need personal hygiene things as:

Bath soap

Shampoo

Deoderant

Razors

Baby Powder

Baby Lotion

Also needed are Cleaning supplies:

Laundry Detergent

Diswashing Detergent

Bleach

Floor Cleaner

Brooms

Mops

I'm sure there are things I have left out, but these are things they can't eat, but they still need on a daily basis.
