While working with the orphanage is our first priority, there are many other needs in the colonias of Nuevo Laredo. We have been blessed on many occasions to help with these other needs. We have taken clothes, food, medication and other supplies and given them out. We have been blessed to serve hot meals to people who otherwise might not have a hot meal that day. We have also been honored to build houses out in the colonias where they have no running water or electricity. As the pictures that follow will show these "houses" we would use as tools sheds in the United States, but to the family for whom it is built it is a HOME. We hope the following pictures will give you a glimpse, not only of the needs, but of the blessings received in helping those in need.
